My experience with Star Health Insurance was very ridiculous. Their customer care is so bad that i am not finding any appropriate words to fill as it is a good blog for review i am not writing such a
thing here. The experience of me was, i had a plan of 50k which is now currently stopped so when my insurance period was over i got a mail after 5 days from the end of my insurance . As i reached Start Health Customer care through phone they said I am having a grace period of 15 days to renew. so when i reached the office of Star Health today (18/10/2010) which is the last date for my insurance coverage renewal period they said that i have to upgrade the policy to 1k which i candidly refused, and i said them that i have came here to renew my policy not to have a new one, so then they said that for renewing it i have to go the office of Star Health from where i took the policy. else there is no way for them to renew it. it dosen,t make any sense to me that if they cant renew a policy from their own office, how can we claim if we got some accident and claim it from a hospital if so it will be a tedious task. So better is to keep away from them.

My experience with Star Health Insurance was horrible. The customer care is so sad and worst that i am not finding any good words to fill as it is a good blog for review. To get reimbursement money from this company, I have to wait for 3 months. Still I am waiting for updates.

Hi,

This is really very ridiculous that customer can not renew the policy on phone even on visiting the office he is aksed to pay more or go back to old city office where he has taken the policy.Since every health Insurance company is providing the renewal and all other processes on phone or mail itself so what is Star health Insurance. It is nothing in front of other Big Health Insurance companies.

So my dear friend dont go for this company who can not provide you the basic facilities which you’re eligible so go for other one not for this.
